La Boda (The Wedding)
Mirta is a Cuban living in Madrid. The odds are against her as she struggles to attend the wedding of her daughter that is scheduled for today at 6pm.
Marina Seresesky is an actress and a director of theatre and cinema who has won several prestigious prizes during her career. Her latest documentary film Mothers, 15 Cents A Minute, recently won the "Biznaga de Plata" prize for best documentry at the Málaga Spanish Film Festival (FMCE). Her recent short film, The Cortege, was awarded more than 90 awards in 20 different countries including First Prize at the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Elche, Best Short Film at the Cartagena Film Festival, Best Script at the Festival Ibérico de Badajoz, and Best Short film at the Imago Film Festival, USA. Currently she is performing for the Spanish National Theatre at the Teatro Meridional and is in pre-production of her next feature film.
